Looking for a family fun festival full of hands-on activities and local color? Come be a part of Riverfest on June 22nd, 2019, from 10am to 3:30pm at Champion Park and Rosman Town Hall, Rosman, NC, 28772.
Transylvania County is the headwaters of the beautiful, ancient French Broad River, which provides us with great paddling and fishing, fertile farms, and clean water. The Transylvania French Broad Stewards, Headwaters Outfitters, Conserving Carolina, and the Town of Rosman invite you to join in the outdoor fun of our 4th Annual Upper French Broad Riverfest! Celebrate and learn about our river as you:
-Visit Rocky the Hellbender and his critter friends
-Participate in Rocky’s Riverfest Scavenger Hunt
-Enjoy hands-on activities for kids of all ages such as free tubing rides, and kids’ archery
-Relax with music, food trucks, and booths for all arts and environmental interests
-Monitor Fish with Oxbow River Snorkeling
-Cheer on the start of Headwaters Outfitters “Hellbender 20-Miler” paddle relay
Our 2018 Riverfest was a great success! Charmed with wonderful weather, hardworking volunteers, talented stage performers, delicious food, and amazing activities and goods sponsored by over 40 vendors, we spent the day out enjoying the French Broad.
