Who We Are

The Transylvania French Broad Stewards is a non-profit volunteer citizen group whose purpose is to promote the natural and economic vitality of the Upper French Broad River in Transylvania County. The organization seeks to accomplish this purpose through connecting with landowners and river users to promote best practices for agriculture, forestry development and safe recreation.

Our regular meetings are on the 4th Thursday of each month at Transylvania Cooperative Extension, 106 East Morgan Street, Brevard, NC 28712. Our June meeting will be postponed in order to prioritize the Riverfest Celebration on Saturday June 23rd from 10-3pm at Champion Park!
